“VESSELS” - DANCE FILM

This project became my place of warmth; it became my space to be honest and be simply human. "The Kintsugi Effect" is a reflection of my own process of creating out of emptiness. Despite the void, I felt completely alive doing this project as it felt raw, intimate, and personal to my artistry. Rooted in moments of burnouts and nights I asked myself why and whom I dance for, my personal dilemmas and inner conflicts inspired this project's visuals, storytelling, and structure.

Through this production, I discovered a way of being an artist that feels true to who I am, and one that creates arts not as something to be personally consumed, but as something to be shared. Above all, this piece serves as a reminder to myself and to those who engage, that when you reach your lowest, someone is also walking with similar shoes — just a different size, just a different color, just a different comfort — and that even when it feels isolating, this shared path is what holds the community together.

‘CASSIE’ - DANCE VIDEO

Erikyle collaborated with dancer and choreographer Cassie, a notable artist who has inspired many dancers in Melbourne, to create an emotionally driven piece that communicates depth, sincerity, and individuality through movement. Through this production, Erikyle also supported recent graduates and Media students by providing opportunities to build their portfolios and connect with other emerging creatives.
